Annual Meeting Notice
New Law Office Opened

PRESIDENT'S LETTER

My main thrust in this message to each member of
the bar Is to tell you of the plans of our forth-
coming annual meeting and to encourage your att-
endance.
The information I have received Is that General
Chairman Judge Lawrence O'Connell and his com-
mittee have everything well In hand and we can
expect an exciting, entertaining and educational
meeting. Wally Hankle end his Continuting Legal
Education Committee have provided worthwhile
sectional meetings, and our luncheon and banquet
speakers come well recommended. The program is
nearly complete and reedy for the printers.
Our sectional meeting will feature Judge Ralph
Maxwell on Trial Practice - proper objections to
testimony and evidence; Mr. Robert Vogel on Ap-
pellate Practice; Mr. Fred Lane. Associate Dean of
the Goldstein Trial Course, on presentation, exam-
ination and cross-examination of the medical wit-
ness. Our speakers include Justice Tom Clark (who

needs no Introduction) who will speak at the Fri-
day noon luncheon to which the ladles are invited.
Mr. Charles F. Adams of Aurora, Nebraska on the
new Code of Professional Responsibility and last
but not leat, the Honorable James P. Mazingo, III
of Darlington, South Carolina for our annual ban.
quet. Those who have heard Mr. Mazingo tell us
that we are In for an entertaining treat.
There are many other comments that spa does
not permit me to make, so make plane now to be
In Willimon, June 24, 25 and 26, partake of some
good western hospitality and lom a little at the
same time.
