(Some say we were only one step ahead of the fire marshall!) In early February the AALS moved its national headquarters to a new location just a few blocks away from its old Dupont Circle location. The AALS is now located at 1201 Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20036. Our telephone number (202/296-8851) and FAX number (202/296-8869) remain the same. Come by and see our new offices if you are in the area! Professor Thomas D. Morgan, AALS President, addresses the House of Representatives of the Association of American Law Schools. His address of January 6, 1990, is printed in full below. PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS There are few honors in law teaching more flattering than being elected president of the AALS. The list of men and women who have served as president is a list of amateurs in the field of association management. They have been professors who have contributed to legal education in a whole variety of ways but who have also seen it to be important to give a year or more to intense AALS service.
